Vinaini Jayasinghe is a professional Indian dancer based in Southern California. She grew up training in the Indian Classical forms of Bharatha Natyam & Kuchipudi, and started branching out into other Indian forms in her teens. These styles include bhangra, garba, lavani, and other Indian folk styles of dance. Over the recent few years, Vinaini has started delving into the vocabularies of hip hop, afrobeats, vogue, and other western styles of dance. She has no single preferred style when choreographing, but rather pulls from many different styles and fuses them in any given piece. Her current interests within this field heavily lie in dance for music videos/film/tv.
